ACTION NEEDED letter following appeal

  • Is it worth visiting the CEL and using the ‘re-appeal’ option but add on there who they are issuing the fine to as I don’t believe they know who was driving and it could have been either me or my wife as we are both insured on the car in question. Just a thought!

A debt collector's letter. The clue is '14 days'.

The fourth post of the NEWBIES thread
explains exactly how to deal with debt collector's letters, but to summarise that post - ignore them.

Ah so the latest one that says ‘final reminder’ is the same as the previous one then in terms of ignoring it? Happy New Year by the way everyone!

You always ignore debt collectors letters,  be it reminder,  final reminder,  ultimate final reminder,  please we beg you to pay us ( or read our drivel  )  etc

It's a Letter of Claim or court claim where you participate and the road to a conclusion starts   ( usually a discontinuation , so you case might be the 500 th discontinuation  )

Hi there and a happy new year to you all! This is the latest letter I received today slightly different this time as it talks about a county court case. I also noticed on the reverse it talks about liability for this charge and the driver being responsible but to be honest it was so long ago now I can remember if it was me or my partner as we were both there and both insured to drive the car. So how would that work in court?!

You don't need to show us these debt letters. Advice hasn't changed.
    Again stop over  thinking this.
