I’m sure TT have a  mix of happy and unhappy customers, same  as everyone else , if you are happy with the price and that’s the important thing , and nothing goes wrong , barring in mind the underlying technology is provided by Openreach between your house and the TT network’ , so irrespective of which ISP you select  that part is the same , so the performance is the same , depending on  the profile purchased , it’s things like backhaul capacity and customer service ( should you need it  ) , that will be the things that decide if your choice was a good one or not  ….chances are it will be absolutely fine .

As far as your MIL , if she’s paying for broadband, personally I get them to provide a router and teach her the joys of silver surfing, after all she’s is paying of it .

Thanks for replying. Regarding the MIL I'm not going down that route until we have to when full fibre arrives here. We've so far steered her around having broadband. Her iPhone is connected to our wifi for FaceTiming/whatsapping family and weather apps etc. She has a habit of deleting apps, swearing blind she phoned/text you and so and so never called me when they did as its in the call history! So unless you want to give her your phone number for technical support it stays that way 😂
Found out today next-door but one has Talk Talk as well so all should be good on Mondays activation fingers crossed!
  • Well Mondays switch from BT went without a hiccup. All been good, fingers crossed stays that way!
