Hi All, just an update. I have received my mediation appointment. It's much sooner than I expected. I have read the previous threads and it implies that I will basically be saying 'No' to all questions. Based on the email received from mediation, I will be expected to 'explain my position'. Do you know if I would need to provide detail similar to my witness statement? Or can I just repeat what I have put in my defence statement?

    Thanks

Hi All, I hope everyone is well. I just received this from the court. I am assuming that they are saying they cannot find my defence and I need to resend. I have not been requested to send my WS yet. They have not even provided an email address of where to send this.

Yep just forward the email where you sent the defence to the CNBC, but this time to whatever your local court's 'hearings' email is. Then phone up the next day to ensure it's received.

They do not have an 'hearing' email address per se, but a 'Civil' one which I have emailed. The auto response said they will not accept any documents unless I have a hearing scheduled within 10 days, which I don't. I would need to submit by Royal Mail or DX, or drop in person. They have a central / national county court line that you call, I had to wait an hour to speak to someone. I will call tomorrow anyway or Friday to see if they have received anything, if not I will post or drop in person. I am shocked that they do not have a copy considering I emailed them a copy and I have already gone through mediation etc. I just need this to be over. Its been going on for over two years!

As above which court? Email is normal procedure.
Waste of time ringing the central number
    Stick to email
