Just standard smoke and mirrors, ignore them, just continue with the process, eventually court is where the true sparring will happen, after the witness statement bundles are in, unless they discontinue like DCB Legal do
  • @Gr1pr . Noted, thank you. I have started working on my witness statement and collecting evidence. I will post once done for feedback.

Well done, good idea whilst its fresh in your mind

I was just thinking about weasel words like theirs, it's strange how DCB Legal always think the same despite some 440 cases in the Umkomaas thread proving otherwise

Tonights news had Letby s new barrister telling us that the opposition were completely wrong, even previous cases

Yet the CPS barrister clearly believes otherwise, reminds me of TV programmes like Law & Order, O J Simpson etc, it will likely be the same in the Post office enquiry, where I believe Jason Beer K C , not the P O  lawyer hiding in Oz

The everyones in the wrong except me syndrome

I hope that you know its a template, for everyone, not just you
  • Hi All, just an update. I have received and completed my DQ. I will be emailing it to DQ.CNBC@justice.gov.uk and Moorside's Litigation Team - LitigationTeam@MoorsideLegal.co.uk. This is the email address they have provided on their DQ.

For anyone picking up on my thread - I noticed the questions / numbering had changed on the DQ. I went through the forum before querying and could see this had been discussed a few times previously. Changed as of May 2024.

Just a question, and apologies if I have missed it (a lot of reading). Will the legal firm provide their WS / Evidence before the hearing?

You both do it before the joint deadline or separate deadlines listed on the court order issued to both sides by the court you nominated in the DQ

Typically a couple of weeks before the hearing date
  • Thank you @Gr1pr . I am interested to see what they have to say considering their letter 'We will respond substantively to the defence'. I know it's a generic letter but I am still intrigued.

They have said multiple times that I have had many opportunities to clear the debt but from the get go I have never accepted it. Anyway, email sent. I will update the forum again at the next stage.

I am almost complete with my WS, should I share with the forum as soon as possible or wait (just in case Moorside are on the forum taking a peek).

Whilst its a good idea to draft it up now whilst fresh in your mind, could be say 6 to 12 months before you need it, so I would not show my hand this early in the game
  • Noted @Gr1pr . Thank you

Moorside's Litigation Team - LitigationTeam@MoorsideLegal.co.uk. This is the email address they have provided on their DQ.
    Useful, thanks.

As they are new, we didn't have that yet.

It was probably said earlier on your thread but Moorside are run (Director - see Companies House info) by Mike Marrs, the Vice-President of the BPA.

Conflict of interests or what?!  Reminds me of the IPC and Gladstones Directors.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
