PCM / Moorside Legal are taking me to Small Claims Court

Hi All, just an FYI, I sent my defence on Monday 18th. I got an Auto reply but nothing else. I had to send it twice as according to the Practice Directive I needed to included my name, address and contact number in the email which I hadn't done. The auto message said they will get back to me in 10 days which is 3 days after my deadline. Does anyone know if they get back to you sooner on any errors etc?0

What does your MCOL Claim History say?2
-
They are unlikely to contact you apart from following the usual steps, as seen in the 12 steps in the defence template thread
You can login to MCOL to check progress in your claim history, once they log your defence, it will say so, then they inform the other party, nothing will happen quickly2 -
-
Definitely not logged the defence yet
Keep checking it every few weekdays ( pointless checking weekends. )
Or check every week2 -
Hi All. Just an update, my defence has been received and logged on to MCOL. I guess now we wait.2

Worth knowing that it took 4 days which matches what another poster just said.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi All, Moorside have responded and this is what they have said. You were right they have sent their directive questionnaire but I will wait till I formally receive from the court.1

So, a letter saying their client intends to proceed.
You were expecting that weren't you?
Item 7 on that checklist you were following when you filed a Defence says...
Items 8, 9 and 10 on that list might be worth another read too2 -
Hi @KeithP , Yes, I was expecting a letter stating they intend to proceed. The line where they say they are familiar with these types of defence and that they do not know what my defence is so cannot respond was odd though.0
