Oh Round hope you’re ok.  DD had to go to court over a car accident…not the accident itself but because the insurance company demanded she pay the car hire.  She won.  And the car which was written off was hit while parked.

I've also sploshed bleach down the loo, got rid of manky fruit that was in the fruit bowl, and decanted bird seed into the container.

I'd forgotten what it felt like to feel this anxious. I think there's a positive in that thought somewhere 🤔

Forewarned is forearmed Valli - thank you. They keep saying it won't come to that but I'll hope for the best and plan for the worst.

Also Valli I like the name Polly Jane. For me it conjures up homely, warmth, crafting and home making.

Polly Jane sounds perfect to me for a crafting enterprise Valli.  Good luck with it.
No wonder you had a bit of a meltdown at work Round.  It sounds as though someone in the insurance world is deliberately trying to make life hard for you regarding your legitmate claim to put you off seeing it through. You're a very determined person so you'll be able to see this through.  Probably pulling up of big girl knicker time, isn't it.
Very little done yesterday other than laundry shuffling and dog-walking.
Wordle in five, had to restart Connections and used a few lives even then, and for some reason I simply could not see the spanogram even though I'd got both words as hints.  I'm really not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

    Better is good enough.

Happy weekend everyone. I'm sorry I've not been able to keep up with the thread this week. I hope everyone is doing well.

    My list for today
Check through Mr T order and put away
Wash up dishes, dry and put away
    Discuss house situation with DH
Finish uni assignment that I've been working on
Make a start on next uni assignment (time of year when assignment and exam pressures starts to build)
Make a start of Xmas present list
Make a start on Xmas food list
Look at M&S festive food (normally get cake from here as kids don't like traditional Xmas cake)
Make a start on uni prep for next week

I think that is everything that I need to get done today, hope everyone has a lovely Saturday/weekend.

Sorry your anxiety levels have shot up, round.  We pay huge amounts of money for compulsory insurance, but it still causes us no end of problems!  Just take things one step at a time.  We are all here if you need someone to scream/cry at.

I went mad yesterday and bought a sofa, which is being delivered on Monday.  Now I'm pondering how to get rid of the old one.  That bit of the lounge floor will have to be hoovered before the new one goes in!  And assembly is required.  Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea when my arm is in a sling...

Hope everyone has a calm weekend xxx

Ionafan to get rid of old sofa, offer it on freecycle, FB, stick it outside near your pavement with a free sign on it, contact men in sheds and see if they want it for their 'shed'.

Thank you ladies 😘  I get anxious but I stick my heels in too. Big girls knickers on. One step at a time. Good advice.

They are collecting the hire car on Monday between 7am and 2pm. It has three bars of fuel in it so that's OK. If they say it's not clean enough I'll pay the valet fee. CBA to argue with that one.

PJ has taken my bank details and will deposit money in my bank on Monday morning. I've contacted the garage to reserve a Kia Venga and I will go in on Monday after 2pm to pay for it. It won't be ready to drive away so I may have to take Tuesday off work. So be it.

When the cheque arrives I can pay PJ back in full.

And the insurers can sort out the car hire, recovery costs etc between themselves. Hopefully they'll resolve things. If not .... we'll deal with that when it happens.

First load of washing has been draped on the airer. Second load has just finished its extra spin and is ready to be draped. WULTD and bowl has been refilled with pots.

I've already chosen a name for my new car. Any guesses?

Roo?  Marvin?  Penelope? - hopefully not Pitstop!

I have FUPA clean clothes, done another WMx1, and put it in the TD.  I've only got 2 detergent sheets left, so Id better order some more today or I won't be able to get the washing done next week  B)
It's raining so Rosie has refused the offer of a walk.
