I slept badly and was in the WAC for a couple of hours. Have plenty of phonecalls and family history filing to keep me occupied today, if I can stay awake.

Evening all,Thankfully felt much better today, as I accepted a work booking, and it would have been miserable if I'd still felt sick. Costa have replied viat messenger to ask for further details, but haven't replied to the email complaint form. Not sure if I'll hear back or not from them, or when if I do.No flying done here tonight, aside from washing up the lunchbox and my coffee cup etc ready for tomorrow. Supervision of DS1's homework is taking up all of my time. Did a little top-up shop on the way back from work as I had to pass a home bargains (cheapest place to get the dairy free butter we use - I can't believe it's not butter). Also managed to pick up some PVA glue for DS1's science model making he has to do.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20175

I didn't see you in the WAC last night Ionafan, we must have been there at different times!
Nice to see you back ClothofGold.
- electrician came this morning so we now have the new cooker working. Tried all our pans on it (it is induction hob) and unsurprisingly, not many of them worked - but as we got them when clearing out Mr N's late auntie's house well over 10yrs ago, we're not averse to buying a few new ones and had found some we liked when we looked a couple of weeks ago.
- went to Pilates
- had Zoom meeting with new manager, quite exciting as it sounds as though they don't have my skillset in their team. I was shown round the college yesterday, given lunch and everyone was very friendly. They have found 2 potential students for me to support for 2hrs each per week: 1 sounds English and possibly ADHD, the other has English as a second language and is dyslexic. I've been emailed a lengthy document on required essay styles and the manager is very keen that I should suggest hints to make it more accessible. I don't think they are that big or organised on record-keeping and paperwork so that will keep me busy.
- Started to fill in the 30 -page application to get Mum the Attendance Allowance.
- caught up with a few emails/messages from my to-do list
- vacuumed the hall and space under the stairs (which had been cleared to give the electrician access to fuse board etc)
- polished a few mirrors, towel rail etc in en suite
- did drumming lesson
- paid in some money for winter lake swimming as it is cheaper if you pay for 6 up front
- registered new cooker online
- started list on Mum's 'house sales document' so DB and I can keep track of items we want.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.5 -
Thanks for the explanation Valli.Congratulations on your promotion Princess. Thanks Narco. We ought to make a claim for Attendance Allowance for A; I started one a while ago but it's such an awful form which seems to ask the same thing over and over again. The online version didn't seem to allow you to expand the boxes even though they wanted lots of detail. Maybe it was just me but in the end I became very frustrated with it, put it to one side and never returned to it.A had a hospital appointment at noon and by the time we'd finished it was time for lunch and he didn't want to wait until we got back so we popped into a Pret and he had a soup (which he declared to be vile and refused to eat) and a sandwich, and I just had a coffee. When we got back I made A a second lunch as the Pret sandwich wasn't enough. I then made my lunch and washed up.After lunch we had a long discussion about a letter he'd received nearly a year ago following a visit to the orthopaedic unit at the hospital and which he didn't understand (I'm not sure why he only decided that now). Eventually we agreed he would write to the GP about it and I drafted something for him and sent it off. Then it was time to make tea and before I knew it, supper, and wash up again. I then put out his breakfastt things and morning meds and have, since then, been listening to some music but I really ought to go to bed as it's well gone 1 am.5

Morning all. Hope you're doing okay.
I didn't post yesterday as I didn't fly. With paid stuff, dog walk, dailies and an evening event there just wasn't time. Will try harder today.
Wordle in four.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.5 -
Morning all 👋 xx
Just nipping in to say hi. I'll be in properly tomorrow. Just the usual make the bed, feed the birds, put out the recycling, take out the bin to be emptied, bring in the emptied bin, make my lunch etc etc done this week.
At work they changed over to a new phone system on Wednesday... it's not fit for purpose. Party and brewery anyone? And they've given both supervisors next week off. Today we're down to two staff(one of whom leaves at 2.30 pm) and a supervisor to cover four Services. And the new phone system only allows each person to log on to one phone line. (The old system allowed us to log on to multiple phones and thereby cover several Services at once.) Can anyone spot the flaw? IT's solution? Tell your managers to employ more staff 🤣🤣🤣 Stressed? Moi? A tad perhaps, but seriously if no-one else cares why should I? 🤷♀️
A bit of positive news. The ICO have rattled cages at the Trust and I've been contacted, an acceptable explanation given, flaws in the system acknowledged and can finally put that one to bed.
So Wedding ✅ Data breach ✅. But still waiting on a resolution to my car insurance following the 'not my fault in any way' RTC.
Love and hugs to all.

Good to hear you’ve a resolution, Round.
Narco and CoG…good luck with Attendance Allowance forms…go for it, CoG.
Lovely nights sleep…not bad considering I had side effects and was full of loperamide.
Had my onco appt by phone but was called before they’d seen my bloods for some reason. And I don’t seem to have had a new appt sent. Anyway meds prescribed and collected by DD, thus saving the pharmacy from delivering them. From Steel City.
WM x 1. Will peg out alongside yesterdays which didn’t fully dry.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
