Morning all,
Had a productive day yesterday, including a cuppa with a friend and my mum coming round. I also had a 40 minute round trip to drop PE kit off to to DS2 who left it in the back of the car this morning!! Grrrr!
Despite that, I got quite a bit done and the house is looking a lot more put together. The kitchen didn't take long as it was still in pretty good shape from last week!
Today's jobs.....
Sort out Christmas pressie stash that has been squirreled in my wardrobe whilst there are no prying eyes!
Post parcels that I didn't get round to doing yesterday!
Put some more items on vinted (my new hobby!!)

Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutterWednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings

Remove floordrobe, make sure all clothes are put away neatly
Level Two

Level Three

I spent yesterday afternoon wrapping Christmas presents at last, just the labels to write on the last few that didn't get done when I ran out of steam.Cleared up yet another dog pee accident, ran another load through the WM and hung it all out to dry last night because although yesterday wasn't a great drying day, today is bright and sunny. For those having to fill in Attendance Allowance forms, when I had to do it for my parents I was so flummoxed I too shelved them but an occupational therapist who was also involved in my parents care was brilliant at asking me the right questions to elicit the answers the forms are about. If you've got one involved in your relative's care I'd ask them for advice, and alternatively, if you have anyone working privately in your area, for a fee they would probably help on a consultatancy basis. Both my parents were entitled to the full whack but I couldn't have claimed it without help.Better is good enough.5

Flying has been done, all sorts of stuff has been cleaned rehomed, put correctly away etc.I forget who has the wrong topping on thier coffee and it caused a reaction, my advise is to kick up as much stink as possible inc local EHO as such like, I seems to recall a sad event where a young girl was bought a hot choc with the wrong milk in it and sadly passed away, forget which coffee house, but they had their fingers wacked hard by the courts etc.(just googled costa, girl was 13)Today is kitchen dayAlso off out for a walk to the local common it seems there is a large digging machine 'attacking' the pond, so off to see what they are doing and why. WUALTD including emptying the salt and pepper mills and washing them. I’m going to town shortly to run errands, and visit the lovely, independent haberdashery which I try to use instead of H0bbycraft. I have a long list, including new pins because mine are old and some are blunt and i’m forever throwing odd ones out…I’m jettisoning the lot. I already bought long pins with big heads for pinning knitting as there are 30, on a wheel-shaped holder, so I can easily see them and I know if I’ve lost one… or more worryingly, left it in my knitting. I’m getting g new knitting needles (for xmas from DD as it’s a size I often use and one of my pairs is bent and losing paint, so they are going).
Bed stripped and airing. Washing on line. Now to put the slap on.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

I seem to be struggling to stay focused this week, think I'm trying to juggle too many different tasks, but I will get there. Sorry I've not been able to keep up with the thread, hope everyone is doing ok and having a good productive week.
My list for day
Do paid stuff

Haberdashery visited and everything I wanted was in stock. Also popped to the cheese shop for Bowland cheese and stilton (white). Blue cheeses are a bit risky atm...
Have finished the dolls coat. Am thinking about selling crafted items.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Left front of coat started but I dropped a stitch and lost the pattern, so back to square 1 as it were. I have decided to use my great aunt’s maiden name for my crafting Polly Jane ( though Polly was a nickname really…but her surname was Jane) - would appreciate comments/opinions. Made bed, ran vacuum round. Paired socks and put on radiator to finish off. Hung jumper to dry. Booked train tickets for DD’s graduation. Sold some unwanted gold…a broken signet ring which was Polly’s beloved Harry’s and unwanted earrings. Am going to used the money for the post graduation lunch.

Morning all xx
What a difference a week makes? Last Saturday I was all bubbly and excited and looking forward to the wedding. This Saturday I'm a wreck. Had a meltdown at work yesterday after receiving emails regarding the car accident talking about solicitors, court fees, what would I say to the judge, 😱 I was close to having to come home as I was a dithering mess. But I pulled myself back from the edge and sought clarification aka cried at a solicitor over the phone. 😳. Then I took control of what I can control. The hire car is being collected on Monday - which is ideal as I won't have to book a day off work. I'm told this means that the settlement for my written off car is on its way to me. It had better be! PJ has offered to lend me the money to buy another car and I'll pay him back when the dosh hits my bank. And it's then up to the Accident Management Team to chase up the money owed for the hire car, recovery etc. And I've agreed to go to court if necessary to help them do that.IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme4
