Round, did you put the curtains away safely in your wardrobe / linen cupboard / bottom drawer / ottoman / suitcase / shed? It's so frustrating not to be able to find things when you know you had them! x
Progress here so far:
Completed Wordle, Connections and (eventually) Strands - not my area of expertise!
Prepped pork casserole for SC
S&S'd kitchen
Wrapped DDiL1's birthday and Christmas presents
Finished food shopping list
Plan for the rest of the day:
Big food shop, visiting 3 stores (including at M€rry H€ll)
Buy cheap petrol (also at M€rry H€ll, so worth the journey)
Deliver 2 cards by hand
Put away shopping
Lunch
Send some e-by-gummable items with DH to the local hospice CS in town, when he takes some of his unwanted books - Shock! Horror! He is actually decluttering his man cave! (but very slowly...)
Walk Rosie
Plant more bulbs in pots, if I still have enough energy
Podiatrist at 5pm
Tea from the SC
R (old school friend) ringing me at 8pm
That's more than enough. See you later - hope everyone has a good day xxx

I have spent a good couple of hours in the garden. The black compost bin has been emptied and it’s contents shoved down rabbit holes (literal rabbit holes) and dumped on the borders. Piece of wire mesh tent pegged in front of the rabbit run gate (preferred escape route for her to dig) and blackcurrant bush grown from seed planted and caged, or it will be eaten. Various grass turves moved from border and dropped into rabbit run. plants in pots top dressed with proper compost from the bag I brought back from the allotment.

Hello. You're all so busy. I've done paid stuff, most dailies, dog walk, hoovered through and met for an hour with friends for a cuppa.
Valli - my DGD2 was at the wildlife park yesterday with her parents for her third birthday. They too were pleased to actually see animals for a change.
Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Trying to deep clean and declutter small areas of the house at a time currently. Today was the turn of one of the windowsills in the kitchen, as well as hoovering away all of the cobwebs around the ceiling coving and light fittings. Little black fluffy cat immediately spotted the now clear windowsill and was thrilled with his new garden lookout (not something I want to encourage, as it means he goes over the worktop).Completed all of connections this morning and wordle in 5. I also accidentally left the car parked in a road near the school and only realised when I got home and saw that my car wasn't in the driveway. So will have to leave in a minute as it takes slightly longer on foot, so that I can pick up DS2 from school and hopefully retrieve the car too.DH is home now, so I've set him the task of going through some of the random rubbish that we had collected on the windowsill (little pots of screws, elastic bands etc that could be useful).Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20176

Various leftover veggies and a few others that were lying around made into soup, so we now have a choice between butternut squash with carrot/parsnip and pea and cucumber ready to go into the freezer. That's enough of different soups to keep us going for at least a month.Chips prepped for the air fryer first attempt to go with some whoopsied scallops from yesterday's trip to Waitflower. If the chips don't work we've got 2 minute rice to go with them and I defrosted some garlic butter to boost the flavour for supper.Lamb bone given to the large black cat out on the sundeck. He zoomed off to the yard to eat it and this one is too big for him to drag in through the cat flap so it'll be picked clean and then tossed straight into the outside lined bin.So the fridge has had a real clear out which it needed and I'm a happy bunny.Better is good enough.5

Round they are not either side of the kitchen window are they 🤣. Only asking because I was watching telly on my laptop last night then started looking for my laptop to send an email, and couldn't find it.
Ridiculously busy at the paid stuff. Tricky meeting went well yesterday once I overcame my nerves. Lieu day tomorrow which I don't really have time for.
Flying has been minimal.

@Yorkshirelass - I have done that too. Kept wondering where the phone was the other day and looking for it - while I was talking on it. I think a lot of us have those moments.6
