Dog trundled, first WM load out on the line, second load twirling. The bottoms of three saucepans have been scoured and now look a lot better. There's a wok-type frying pan that needs more attention but that too looks better. They've been annoying me for months years. Broccoli soup made and scoffed for lunch, kitchen floor swept and washed. Receipt for air fryer printed and filed.Paperwork for the rest of the afternoon, then mushroom straganoff I made on Saturday for an early supper and we're out to the University to listen to this. I have to say they all called it wrongly in 2016 while only three of us in the audience got it right. I'm really looking forward to hearing what they have to say this time around.Better is good enough.6

I've swallowed some frogs! 🐸
I've arranged for the electricity company and the gas company to come and fit smart meters.
I've checked my rent account.
I've requested a repair to the gutter leaking (again) over the back door.
Gulp. Gulp. Gulp.
And I've paid the first installment on my wedding outfit and shoes which I bought on a flexi plan because I could.
Towels and tea towels have been swished and had an extra spin, so they can be draped on the airer.

Round you have done so well on losing the weight and so long as you feel happy and confident in what you are wearing then that's all that matters. I bet you are going to be amazing in your sparkly shoes xx
Did you know that DHs sinuses hurt? I have been informed of this at least 47 times in the last 90 minutes.
Sort of working to my own lists today so on top of a full day in the office I have dusted and hoovered the LR, washed doggie blankets and put the kitchen to bed.
I was going to a big work meeting with a colleague on Wednesday and he has had to drop out so I am now going on my own. I am really nervous, I used to be OK about stuff like this but since I got very bad with the anxiety earlier this year it has really knocked my confidence. Dreading it.
Feet up now, might put some clean washing away later, or I might leave it.9 -
Evening all.
Congrats to your DS YSL.
Thanks for the list. Nothing doing today as it was usual Monday with the three DGDs. I'm working the rest of the week and busy with bits and pieces but I'll try my best.
Wordle in five today and connections with no lives lost.
Spend less now, work less later.8 -

Morning all.
Ive wordled in 4 but failed at connections even though i spotted some categories because I kept picking a red herring.
Day at home today. Got someone coming to look at the drive with a view to cleaning it and clearing weeds. I wonder how much they’ll quote. Might get round the back done too, if they are reasonable.
Ive 2 washloads to peg out, plus my swim gear. I’m going to school tomorrow so I’m making a cake to take in, while I get to go to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, with the kiddies.

Dog walked, breakfast scoffed while the plumber was fixing what we thought was a faulty thermostat but turned out to be a faulty motherboard in the boiler itself, lunch out with a friend, leaves raked and bagged, house given the once over with a cordless thingy, laundry shuffled back inside because it just felt too damp and cold not to rain (I was right), house prepped for fireworks display on The Hoe tonight so that animals will be okay with the bangs, chicken slices cut up for them and other treats secreted in the sitting room so they can be distracted by them and the TV volume being turned up, instructions for re-programming the thermostat read, although for the moment we will keep turning the heating on in the evenings as needed.Potatoes prepped for the air fryer so I can show Belovéd how to use it for pretty much the only thing he'll be really interested in using it for - sauté potatoes and chips.Silver polishing kit set out for dealing with something I inherited from my maternal great grandparents that hasn't been cleaned for at least 25 years but that can wait until tomorrow because I'm shattered.Slice of cake delivered to neighbour whose son scoffed the last lot I gave her. I suspect he'll spy the plate and do the same again because she was asleep when I delivered it.I doubt I'll be able to stay awake all night listening to the results but I've got my fingers crossed. Apparently it all comes down to Pennsylvania, although the predictive states are Ohio and Nevada for those that are interested and awake.Better is good enough.6
