Morning all xx
Yesterday didn't go quite to plan. I had a read a book day instead. Literally. Started the book in the morning and finished it before I went to bed. 355 pages devoured. So not much else done. Ooops.
And now it's today. I'm up, made my bed, completed Wordle in three, Strands with one hints needed, and Connections with one life lost. I've taken my meds, turned over the calendars and I'm supping my first brew.
I've PMd you Natty Xx
Another brew is required then a plan / focus is required.
Back soon.

Round, I'd be interested to know if you can make Strands work today. I can't, and that's even after looking up the answers. Connections with two lives lost, Wordle in 4 which is good for me.Today I must visit the library to return seven books that I can't extend any more, walk the dog and then we're off to Waitflower for Belovéd to have a meeting in their café with someone who lives in Cornwall and I can get the doggo measured for a harness. She's managed to escape my homemade one twice, once with the dogwalker and once with Belovéd. I was reluctant to buy one initially because she was so overweight but has now lost all the extra padding so it's time. And I might deal with the shower room.Better is good enough.6

HB - I only needed one hint to find the last two words on Strands today. Not convinced one word is relevant alongside all the others but heyho 🤷♀️. Yesterday I struggled and needed hints all the way through.
Still not had that second brew yet.
Oops sent before I'd finished.
Plan for today is to put curtains up in the kitchen.

Good morning all!Sorry to have been MIA - the beginning of half term was busy with play dates etc, and then mid week, I went down with a covidy-like (not actual covid as test was negative) bug that has knocked me for six. I'm still coughing like mad and have booked the whole week off this week. I've been taking it fairly easy, but did accidentally do some of the bathroom list yesterday without knowing (just washing the towels), but at least it's something. Will try to do my bedroom today. I need to buy a new flat sheet as our beatiful (and expensive at the time) Egyptian cotton sheets that I bought whilst working at House of Fraser in my youth, ripped the other day when I pulled the sheet up (my thumb went through it and they weren't even looking thin). I can see another area near the tear that will likely go too if I put them in the wash without repairing first, but I don't have a sewing machine, and my Mum (who does have one) had a fall on her holiday and has damaged her wrist, so can't even hold a toothbrush. I will try my best to stitch it up by hand whilst I search for a replacement. I don't like to buy online if I can help it for things like this as I like to feel how thick and smooth they are, especially as they are expensive to replace.4 lines on connections, but failed wordle today.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20177

Change of plan. Plan is to find the kitchen curtains. At first glance they're not where I thought they were. Ooops. But there is nowhere else they would logically be. So I'm going in to dig further.
In the meantime I've fed the birds, put out the recycling, done a laundry shuffle, WUDUPA, and checked the bank statement which arrived today. Receipts filed.

OK. Now I'm flummoxed. Can anyone tell me where the kitchen curtains are? 🤔 I found the bedroom curtains for the flat we left in 2003. And I found work trousers, a blouse and two jumpers that will now fit me. Yayyy. But I didn't find what I was looking for.
Yet.
