@rtandon27 marvellous as ever! Remind me, HR is on your side at work? I'm not sure how bad my language would have to be to get me banned from here, but if I said what I thought, I'd deffo be skating on thin ice. Love Humdinger xx4

@Humdinger1 - yes, I do wish that we could rate our postings as once in a while I do want to use language that the filters won't allow - the very-English OH over the years has taught me some very non-PG-13 expressions that would do quite nicely. I've not actually said much on here about the complications of HR at work. So TBH I won't be reminding you, rather than saying it afresh! Ultimately my manager also has HR under their purview BUT head of HR is a long-time colleague and personal friend. It's all very incestuous when you've been working at our organization for a long time! I have an extensive network outside of my current organization, having been in the workforce for several decades. One of my former positions being within the personnel department of a different organization, so there is no shortage of 'educated advise', so to speak.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Third day of Hallowmas - November 2nd - All Souls' Day - The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed. Back across the pond, it's also celebrated as The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos). Today is the day we think about the family who have gone before us and thank them for their kindness & generosity. Nothing makes up for them not being with us but we feel them close by through the way their deeds have impacted our lives both past and present. OH has woken up from yet another nap and sweetly put on Coco - who knew that a cute cartoon would be so tearjerking!
The week was not a great one, OH has been having some pretty intense treatments, and on Tuesday collapsed and was sent from the private hospital to an NHS acute ward. According to his private doctor, he was meant to be kept in at least overnight & on a fluid drip, but was released just before midnight and sent home in a taxi. I'd been at work and by the time I got home, I had to track down which ward he was in to find out what was going on! I am not a fan of our public healthcare system to start with, and when I ended up being the carer for the night - all I can say is absolutely negligant. This means that I ended up taking off time on Weds/Thurs/Fri to accompany him to treatment in case he once again was at the mercy of the NHS - I was not about to let anyone else make decisions on his behalf.
So this weekend's all encompassng list is a bit late as I've been overwhelmed with doing all my usual chores and OH's as well! I feel like I need a weekend to recover from the weekend!

What a week you've both had. It does get to the point, sometimes, of grabbing sleep when you can and having a bag of stuff to see you through who-knows-how-long of hospital time. I do hope Monday's treatment goes as well as possible and isn't too harsh.
