The flowers sounds gorgeous, and it's nice to give last week's a fresh lease of life. Not many February gifts of flowers are still being enjoyed in April!

Flowers sound lovely, flowers in the house are one of life's simple joys.
Also have a bin whizz to do the cleaning. Another simple joy - he is supposed to come fortnightly but often seems to have problems but I never mind. I did not realise that having a clean bin would make life feel better somehow but it does😊
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Another incident with the plastic grass neighbours. On Sunday I discovered they had dumped a metal frame behind my shed, by accessing the right of way at the end of our properties. They are the only people who have access to that right of way as it is actually blocked on the other side. Until recently, the metal frame was the support for his tomato growing raised bed, but shortly after I purchased my 6-ft wooded plant staging, there appeared a 3 foot one on their property and the metal base disappeared!
I was utterly livid to find rubbish on my property, and unfortunately they were not home until mid-night Monday as I had some choice words prepared for Sunday night. As it stands, OH who has only just regained some strength, decided to relocate their frame back to behind their shed! (…and I let him get on with it!)
I've subsequently discovered I could have taken photos and reported it to the council as fly-tipping with a 5000pound fine a possibility, not to mention a day in court. What they did is actually a criminal offence. I do however have to have had at least one conversation to attempt to resolve the issue. So tomorrow when the offensive Mr Plastic Grass goes to work, I will request 5 minutes of the Mrs time - as she is the actual home-owner - I shall politely give her facts and advise her that if he trespasses and fly-tips again I will report to the council and seek legal advice to prevent them from accessing my property. Due to his previous verbal abuse and targeted discrimination, there is actually a good reason to request this as cumulatively they can be taken as ASB! I'm so very glad I kept a log of everything he's done over the past years - even though at the time I felt it was a bit anal - lol!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Outraged … hope conversation goes well tomorrow although I have my doubts it will based on previous performance.

@Watty1 - as do I my dear, that is why I'm saving the conversation for a day when I don't have work pressures to deal with - but if i don't have the conversation then I can't follow up with the reporting as the first box on the form is something akin to - have you attempted to resolve the problem verbally with your neighbour?
