Good morning good people,
How long do i have, to fill in the N180 questionnaire?0 -
I believe that it's 7 days as a deadline, but should only take you 10 minutes to download the N180 pdf document, fill it in and email it as an attachment to the DQ email address at the CNBC in Northampton and copy in the lawyers, DCB Legal, using their info@ address
Their letter gives you the timeframe2 -
Thank you very much for your prompt response

Hello again, So I decided to fill in the N180 questionnaire but I realised that this is the N80 filled in by DCB Legal.
Sorry I was at work and did not realise that they would send me their N180 questionnaire.
I just wanted confirm one thing - In the form attached to the email, they have mentioned,
"About the hearing:F1 At which County Court hearing centre would you prefer the small claims hearing to take place and why?
DCB Legal: Claimant's Home court.
So will I have to travel if the case doesn't get settled? on what basis will the court decides on which court should the case be heard?
This is the email:
"Having reviewed the content of your defence, we write to inform you that our client intends to proceed with the claim. In due course, the Court will direct both parties to each file a directions questionnaire. In preparation for that, please find attached a copy of the Claimant's, which we confirm has been filed with the Court.
Without Prejudice to the above, in order to assist the Court in achieving its overriding objective, our client may be prepared to settle this case - in the event you wish to discuss settlement, please call us on 0203 434 0433 within 7 days and make immediate reference to this correspondence.
If you have provided an email address within your Defence, we intend to use it for service of documents (usually in PDF format) hereon in pursuant to PD 6A (4.1)(2)(c). Please advise whether there are any limitations to this (for example, the format in which documents are to be sent and the maximum size of attachments that may be received). Unless you advise otherwise, we will assume not."0 -
Ignore DCB Legal. The defendant chooses the court. They just hope that a dozy defendant agrees otherwise.
Download a fresh copy of the DQ from the website and complete and file your own.
It'll all be discontinued eventually anyway.2 -
And if you were following the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements like everyone you would understand this part
Check your MCOL claim history to see if your paperwork has been posted yet
Download, fill in , choose your local civil court, save, send2 -
Hey dude, thanks for the prompt response. I have found the form on the gov.uk website as I have not been sent the N180 document from the court.
I have seen the 8 steps & also checked my Mcol claim history, it is still showing defence as the latest document.
and who do i send it to even if I download this from gov.uk website?
Sorry for too many questions0 -
Step 3 of the 8 steps you're following gives you the answer.Mo_alvi said:and who do i send it to even if I download this from gov.uk website?2 -
So just be sure, i can download the form from gov.uk & submit it to CNBC
OR
Should I wait for them to send me the questionnaire?0 -
Its your choice what you do, the choices are
Phone weekly until you know it's been posted by the CNBC
Or
Wait until it arrives in the post, but it could go missing
Or
Get your MCOL login fixed to check it yourself
Or
Download it, fill it in and email it as an attachment
You will be doing the download etc, regardless of the rest, so that last option will be used anyway, the one in bold above, by you, now or in the future , no paperwork, no posting the paperwork, email only
Ps, we have already given you the best option so no idea why you haven't done it2
