    Oh no @JynErso, that's terrible news 😢 💔

Hopefully things will settle down now Sue-UU 🙏

We have returned after an adventure to Japan and South Korea. Absolutely amazing holiday celebrating the big 60 for DH and our 35th wedding anniversary. So lucky to have had this opportunity to experience a different culture 💕

Another five pounds in the pot this week. Enjoy the sunshine 🌞

Hello Potters! I  3 hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Easter Weekend.
To all those of you who are poorly or low in any way, take very great care and get well soon. Very best wishes from us all here on SPC  3

Ah, at last I'm back on the thread after phone problems as well as password troubles, but by golly has it taken a heck of a lot of time!
So sorry to have kept you all so long, but all's well at last. 😱 😀
I hope you all had a lovely Easter and are enjoying this lovely weather.

    Very well done Hetty.

Excellent work with the £83 potted Vicky! So glad you had a lovely Easter, us too.

I can relate to being so excited Ant, T found a 2p on our walk, I was quite chuffed, after a scrubbed it up it soon went in the pot to make friends. 😀
Sealed Potters will always understand...with slight envy. 🤢

I'm pleased you had a relatively good trip away MrsShazbat, though so sorry to hear about your FIL. However, I hope he makes a very good recovery, bless him.
Very well done with your Plum money.

Excellent potting with your cash LMD!!

Oh dear JynErso, such a sad shame about your dear kitten, her brother too. It's so sad when they wander around looking for her, as lost as we get at such times. 😞
As with Ant, thoughts and prayers for you.

Hello Siju! I'm so very thrilled you both managed to have such an amazing holiday, just like a couple a few doors away from us, they too thoroughly enjoyed their honeymoon in Japan as soon as Covid was over.
So pleased you were also able to go to South Korea, amazing memories for you to have of such special events! A very Happy Birthday to your hubby on his 60th and to you both on your 35th Anniversary!! 🥰🥰
T is slowly recovering after his B12 injection, though for the last 4 weeks he's had terrible problems with his spine, still, at last he's been listened to and a new Dr is referring him to the orthopedics as she thinks his stenosis is worsening, she also says he should refer himself to Physio for more gentle exercise to help. She's prescribed him Tramadol too, though he's only taking 1 x 4 times a day for at least a couple of days to see how they react. Fingers crossed!!

Crikey Ant another 2p! 🤢 Quite chuffed for you.

£20 transferred from our account to the SPC account!!

So sad about the passing of Pope Francis, a really lovely and caring gent indeed, though he looked so very ill on Easter Sunday. o:):'(<3 It seems as though is was meant to be with him passing on Easter Monday. Rest In Peace.

Crikey LMD, a fantastic amount!!! 😱

    An excellent sum Lost!!! 😱

You're not alone mummytummy, for starters we're constantly fighting a near losing battle with the cost of living crisis. I can't pot half as much these days, I just hope things will settle down if the Russia/Ukraine war finally ceases.

Latest jaunt away has now passed - Manic Street Preachers in Manchester on Saturday night with my sister.  They were excellent again.  Can't believe it was 2021 the last time we went, post-Covid and all that that entailed - not least a cheaper hotel room!  Anyway we stayed in the same place again although it was a good £100 more expensive than 4 years ago.  Very much not moneysaving but I will switch to a 'proper' hotel from a budget one when the price for the budget one is over the odds for what you get.  No issue with budget hotels per se, and we keep the Travelodges of the south turning over with our family trips, but when they want almost the same as a regular hotel for a one-night stay, I'd rather switch to a regular hotel and pay for better facilities.  Apart from a day off work for my birthday in 3 weeks, I've nothing on now till my weekend in London in the middle of June!
