Pleased to say I transferred the last of 2025 days up to day 365 last week and completed the challenge. Hooray!!

Total saved as of today £675.17 (inc interest)

Thanks so much @enthusiasticsaver for inspiring us all for this challenge and keeping us all motivated and organised.
o:)  Well done to all those who have finished the challenge.

For those who have not updated for a while why not pop on the thread and share your progress.  Of the 69 people who signed up last year only 25 are still posting which is a shame.

There are some who are close to finishing including myself.

Finished the 2025 run, it paid for a mini break in Bodmin half way through so utterly thrilled.  I worked out it's a flat rate of £1.83 per day so for 2026 I've started putting £2 per day away as a manageable sum then it'll add up to £730 by the end of the year!  Bring it on & good luck all xx

This is very late considering 2026 challenge has started. I just wanted to give a final update for 2025.  I did manage to complete the challenge, even if I had to dip into it a few times during the year. Thanks everyone for helping me stay the course. Each time I had to dip into it, I felt like I'd failed and should stop, but my internal voice wouldn't let me, plus having this community helped.

I'm not able to join the 2026 challenge as I am currently unemployed (VR), so am living off that for the time being til I find a new job or see if there's enough in my pension pot to retire early.

Hope to join the challenge later in the year.

My last contribution was week ending 9th Nov, so almost made it!
After that, the bits of cash that I had was spent rather than drawing out of the bank!

Well done everyone who made it to the end
