£104.xx in my pot at present, so around £10 more to complete the Jan-May amounts.

No offence to anyone, but if people have, or are just about to complete the challenge, then it's not really a "challenge" is it?
I could stick £650 of my wages this week into the pot, and challenge completed.  Then transfer the lot back to my bank account same day.

    #28 Terrible month this month.
The car needed £1000 spent on it and since then everything has gone downhill,so I have had to stop other challenges I was doing and use the money to pay for our poorly car,
so having to put minimal amount in this month :(
only putting in £7 so in all to date £100
    MSE 1p challenge = £200 so far.

thanks very much for your comment and yes i do find it offensive so please take me out of this challenge or should i call it that.

i don't see why i should but here goes as to why i have so much in and others have i suspect.
i started in dec 24 and will end nov 25, i do this to have money for december.
i also work backwards so i have just finished six months so according to the challenge i should have saved £503.24.
i have saved £593.64 the extra was my fault as i was silly enough to back the winner of this years grand national and stupid enough to put it into this savings.

Obviously that wouldn't be saving it would it? If it's not challenging enough for you, you could make it £6,500 instead.

Some are doing the challenge backwards by paying in the larger amounts at the beginning of the year.  That shows them being further along than others doing it in the traditional way.
