Flight refund after death

Good evening fellow money savers. Not sure if anyone can help? My sister recently passed away but had booked a holiday (via love holidays) with her carer. We have been told to go through easyJet for a flight refund (accommodation already refunded). EasyJet will only offer a voucher rather than the money (approx £400), which, for my mum, who is next of kin and dealing with everything, is pointless; she is 71 with health issues and will not fly!! Can anyone offer advice of the best way to address this please? EasyJet have told us they can’t refund the money to any account than my sisters who booked it - which is clearly closed now since her death.
Thank you

refer it to a bereavement team perhaps? Or escalate to the CEO.

While their published policy is to refund to the same account, they do offer a contact address for a dedicated team, who ought to be able to help:https://www.easyjet.com/en/help/booking-and-check-in/managing-your-booking
To make a voucher or refund request, select the Bereavement (Cancel Booking) option from the drop down menu within our online Contact Us form and complete the form with the following information:
- Confirm which customers on the booking are unable to fly
- Confirm which flights you’ve missed or need to cancel
- Confirm if the deceased is the booker, a passenger, or a non-passenger
- Upload a copy of the death certificate (this can be done at the bottom of the online form)
- Provide your contact number and email address
If you can’t complete the online form or you’re unable to scan and attach a copy of the death certificate, please send a letter with your booking reference, the information above, and a copy of the death certificate to:
Executive Support Team, easyJet Airline Company, Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, LU9 2PF
Once we receive your request, our dedicated bereavement team will aim to process your request within 7 days.
