well that didnt work for some reason :-/ this was the instruction which said it would be invested on the 8th (today). it was taken with a few days notice, i think on the 4th?
(for some reason theres also a strange cash balance there, i dont know the relevance of that figure)
EDITED to remove II number
ive just looked, no investment, its all just in there as cash still saying next investment is 5th feb.

when i look at the direct debit tab it says its set up correctly.
any idea what went wrong?
thanks
EDIT: the DD says next payment is 12/2/25 so its possible that as the first DD hasnt actually kicked in yet that theyve just ignored it, altho i still had a request for the 147k to be invested. would this have been the problem do you think?

I may be wrong but you appear to have posted details of your ii account number. Not sure that is a good move on a public forum.0

If it’s due on the 8th give it a day or two. I believe ETFs trade almost straight away, but OEIC funds only show changes once a day and I’m not sure at what time of day.0

thank you for advising patience..... just had a look expecting to see no change, wondering whether to send a secure message to enquire, and its done. all invested.
hopefully plain sailing now and the DD will keep adding £100pm with no issue.
thanks again for holding my hand through the process :-)

You won't see any change with II until the trade goes through. That can be 2 or 3 days, depending on when you place the instruction.

just checked into my SIPP to make sure all's ok and had this message.
its only 85p, but i suppose it could end up as anything, so just wanted to check if this is normal. why would i have negative cash in there? i invested my balance into a fund, itll go up or down, why am i a few pence of cash in the red? and should i just leave it and itll sort itself out, or should i put something in to cover this?
thanks0 -
I have never seen that- likely to be due to rounding with such a large transaction. If it is going to bother you then add 85p by debit card to get rid of the messageI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans
