Has anyone got the split units. I want to know if the part of the system that fits onto the outside wall has the brackets to come with it? as they are expensive themselves??
    Thanks

With the Easy Fit ones - which have split units, you have to buy the brackets to fit the outside one on really if you have it in an upstairs room. We managed to get one pair or brackets but couldn't get another for the other Easy Fit one - so that's going downstairs instead. You also need 2 people to fit it up outside to get it up on the brackets - as it's mighty heavy.....

8000BTU, all manual controls though (manual thermostat switch etc) Just got back from there and they still had 3 left out.

    Hope that helps somebody.

  • I bought one of the 9000 btu units from Homebase the other week, I know it is noisy but it is a droning sort of noise so I find no problem sleeping with it switched on (I work night hsifts and run it during the day when I am sleeping off nights) Hope the above helps.
