It used to be 90 days, what's next - 30 days?
There's an article at the following link for example:
Any suggestions please as to the best PAYG alternative that uses the EE network?

RWG seems like an option for you.

Il admit im a fan of RWG. Been with them since 2019.
Good points
Proper pay as you go. No credit expires ever.
20gb a month e u roaming allowance.
5p a min 5p a text and 1p mb.
Minimum top up £5.
Bundles from £2 a month for 100mins 100 texts 750mb. Order bundles by text to 669
Uses EE 5g
Bad points.
Does not have volte or wifi calling.
Hard to contact1 -
I gave up on RWG for my main phone and went to 1p but I have no problem spending as much with them as they want in order to keep my phone active.
However for my backup phone I stayed with RWG on their SIM where you pay them a one-off £15 and can use a few mins and a few texts and megabytes of data each month and it seems OK but I suspect that is no longer available. If it isn't then you can pay them £2 per month:

I make a quick call to myself (and answer it!) each month to keep the thing active0 -
Thanks for the suggestions.I did in fact used to be on RWG but switched to 1P Mobile because RWG support was lousy and they seeme dto take an age to process top-up payments. Have they improved then?0

Iv been lucky as iv only needed to contact them two times since iv been with them, and they replied within a day.
Not needed to contact them for ages.
Think replies take a lot longer now0 -
When I first joined 1p Mobile it was £10 every 120 days which was perfect for me, I got lots of my friends and family to sign up, then it changed to 90 days last year, and now every 60 days. It is now put it in the "no longer special" category as you can get cheaper deals from some companies. I literally only use my phone to ring from supermarkets to ask back home for what to get if I can't get something they asked me for, and on the very very slight occasion I need to check my email when out shopping.
I would go with RWG but they don't have Wifi Calling. I know Lebara are doing £1.50 a month for 6 months then £4.90 a month deal, which includes 5gb data and inclusive calls and texts. They also have Wi-Fi calling. They also have one at £1.45 a month for 6 months and then £4.45 a month there-after with 300 mins, 3gb data, and unlimited texts included. That is probably the cheapest "Wi-Fi calling" service I can find. Although.....
I just saw the below deal from a company I have never heard of called Mozillion, it says for £2.50 a month you get 1gb data, unlimited minutes and texts AND Wi-Fi calling, piggy backing off EE. Sounds too good to be true. Anyone know if this is a introductory offer ? Not sure if I can add links, but if so then it is here : https://www.mozillion.com/simonly/460 -
