Hi guys I received the following email from GN:Received on Mon 2nd Dec 2024.Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for your correspondence relating to your Parking Charge.0000 The representations stated in your correspondence have been noted and considered. Please forward to us the full name and address of the driver at the time this charge was incurred so that we can update our records accordingly. Also, in light of your claims, we are prepared to reconsider your appeal should we receive evidence of your custom at the site on the date in question. However, until such time as this evidence is received this Charge will continue to remain outstanding. We are placing this Charge on hold for 14 days from the date of this letter to allow time for the documentation requested to be received. Yours faithfully, CP Plus LtdIm thinking to ignore and wait for the 14 days to pass where they will send the PoPLA code, just wanted to keep the thread updated.Any advice or input is always welcome.Thanks.

That is correct, a phishing expedition, ignore and wait1

Hi guys,I haven't heard anything from either the rental company or GN regarding this, is it safe to say they've given up? Is it normal for a response from them to take this long?0
-
I may be wrong, but I doubt GN have given up. They are probably scratching their brain cell and trying to work out what to do next whilst transferring their efforts to easier prey for the time being.
How did you get on with your (day to day) keeper complaint to the landowner and your MP?
Please in any case sign the petition linked from the post below, and get all your friends and family to do the same.

When logging in to view photos I assume the PCN still shows as outstanding?
You could put in a complaint to GN for failing to provide a POPLA code in a timely manner. See their complaints policy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Glad it's been cancelled 🥳 and please do sign petition 🙏2 -
Hello guys,Just after I thought this was all said and done I was contacted by email this morning by a debt collection agency. They are operating on behalf of the rental company (Hertz UK Ltd) who initially wanted to charge me £44.00 for processing the PCN and sending it to my address, so it seems even though the PCN has been officially cancelled by the Parking Company the rental company is still chasing me for their administration costs?!Should I reply to their email and tell them the PCN has been cancelled? Just want to check the best course of action before going ahead with anything.I would appreciate any help!Thank you and please see below for the email I received this morning:

No, leave it on this one, it's part of the saga
Ideally you want proof of the cancellation and pass to the people trying to bill you, after checking the small print in the hire or lease agreement
Please note that it was an invoice pcn from a private parking company that you received, it was not a fine or a penalty from an authority, so dont let them bamboozle you with incorrect legal words
You might owe them the fee if they correctly worded it into the contract you signed, otherwise you didn't agree to it because its probably not mentioned at all
Check, add proof , dispute if you have the solid ground1
