I've a few options now which is great. One thing I've thought to check is how much storage each will need. I'm a hobby photographer and was told 'storage is full' suddenly so I'm busy clearing out to make room.

So for a while, that may make an impact on what I can use.

I use a separate external drive for image storage, which is also handy should or when my PC gives up

Thanks Farway, yes, I used to but I need to update it - and to be fair I've just put things off with the photos.

Of course the most recent camera takes much larger files so I need to get a wriggle on and some discipline which seemed to disappear with lockdown and the joy of being out
