And you probably can't believe a company is allowed to charge you £100 because their system was down.

Hi Everyone, I returned back from holiday last night about 11pm to find I had been sent the Directions Questionnaire N180 to be completed by 31/08/2025! It was postmarked 15/08/2025 and we went on holiday on the 14th
The cover letter asks for the questionnaire to be returned to Civil National Business Centre (…) NN12LH. Obviously I don’t have time to post it to them to arrive by today and they are not open to be able to call. Instead I have emailed a completed form to contactocmc@justice.gov.uk
will this be ok? I have also emailed a copy to DCBL legal. Shall I call the court tomorrow and explain why I wasn’t able to return the form by post? Many thanks

Think you're meant to email N180 to CNBC but that email you've used is wrong.
See The first 8 steps in the Template defence thread and the list of email addresses for CNBC.

I hope that you downloaded the N180 DQ pdf document from the government website and filled it in,  saved it and attached it to your email to that new DQ email address as shown in the 8 steps in the defence template thread   ?

Not Jpegs, not scans, not a self assembled pdf document over 10mb either

And if you can, pleeease fit in to do the government's Public Consultation. We need every poster to complete this vital survey before the deadline. See this thread: -

We understand that you may need some pointers. It looks laborious, we get that. It doesn't matter; no knowledge is needed except re your own experiences so you can call out a scam industry and you'll protect millions of motorists and help change the law.

I've written some guidance on that thread. I have covered almost every question, providing ideas if you agree with our stance on things like DRFs, which we say must be banned.

Ordinary people like you are falling victim to this scam 15 million times per annum. Motorists need your voice added please.

CLOSES ON FRIDAY. Just 3 days to go.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Tomorrow is my mediation phone call with the court. My plan is to offer them nothing on account of 1) I have never at any point tried to avoid paying for my parking ii was unable to pay due their own payment processing being out of action 2) I reached out to them at the time to make them aware of the issue and ask for an alternative way to pay 3) when I was issued the parking ticket I again offered to pay for my parking (which totalled 16 minutes) 4) they have declined my offers to pay for the parking and have decided to persist with this going to court so let it go to court! If I lose so be it but honestly at this stage I feel they should be paying me! Crazy that because their own payment system was down I have had to go through this whole process- taking time away from work and my three young children to fill out forms and questionnaires and now to have a call with the court! Any advice or words of wisdom welcome before the call!

Mediation is provided by the Mediation service,  not a court ( no court has been allocated yet  )

Offer £0 , no compromise, say thank you and goodbye,  end call , job done
