Cash ISA ~partial~ transfer to Stocks and Shares ISA?

Lets say I've used up this tax year's ISA allowance, £20,000 into a Cash ISA.
Is it possible to do a PARTIAL transfer, lets say £5,000, to a Stocks and Shares ISA?
Is that allowed by the rules? Are there any known providers that are easy to do it with?
Thanking you!

Yes, it's permitted by the rules, but I don't know which permutations of providers support it - however, there will probably be the potential to use temporary intermediary providers if those you prefer won't play ball. Have you already used your full allowance and, if so, where (and which S&S provider do you have in mind)?1

What you are choosing to invest in will tend to restrict which S&S ISA providers are suitable (and cost-effective). In general, it is the established large providers who tend to be more restrictive when it comes to partial transfers. For example, iWeb requires current year subscriptions to be transferred in full. I believe the same is true for Fidelity and II, but HL do allow partial transfers in.If your cash ISA is with Trading212, then it is reported to be very easy to shift money to a S&S ISA with them.

Just to confirm, I have two Cash ISA providers... Chip and Trading 212.I contacted both after your replies.Chip only allows a full transfer from Cash to Stocks & Shares.Trading 212 does allow partial transfer. Actually the app is so easy to use, I like it.Cheers for the replies!0
