Great find reference the Euros 😁
Did you request the money back from Gas and Electric? Are you still using that towards Very?Sounds like it could be a good month for debt busting 👌All being well, I could be starting my December pay month with just £300 left of the Very debt, and with the possibility of clearing it by the end of the year.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

But you’re probably wise to tuck it away for a while just in case. Baffles me why it takes so long for companies to refund 🙄MFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

NSD as I’ve stayed at home due to Covid Vaccine side effects. Joint pain, chills and fatigue. I hope this is all signs of building a strong immunity to Covid. I’ve escaped it so far.
I was due to have the flu vaccine at the same time, but my pharmacist had run out of doses. So glad I didn’t get both together as I feel so rough. I’ll go for the flu jab at the end of the month. I get strong side effects every time so need to arrange it for when work is least busy and I have time to wallow.
£1.50 Vinted sale made. I have a few parcels to post so will have to go out tomorrow. I’ll combine that trip with getting petrol and more painkillers. I’m down to the disgusting dispersible paracetamol at the bottom of my first aid box.
Last night with the boys here. The flat is a tip.mainly due to me collecting items to sell on Vinted and storing them in boxes in my living room and bedroom. Once I have the flat to myself, the boxes can be moved to son’s room and I can tidy and clean the other rooms. Some serious selling and decluttering needs to be done by December 20th so I can be ready for Christmas visitors. No energy for it today though. I’ve barely moved from my armchair.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

£21.48 from Monzo Cashback sent to Very.
Still feel awful but am going to package Vinted sales and get them posted. Back to bed once that is done. This COVID vaccine has wiped me out. I felt a little better this morning, but then walked the dogs, and the joint pain came back with a vengeance.
Daughter has found another car to buy. I’m not in a fit state to go with her for a test drive. Big sis will have to go with her.MBNA 237.47/13997.47

@Nintud hope you soon feel better. Weirdly, the side effects are generally lower when you have flu and covid jabs together so might be worth doing next time. Deffo agree that your immune system is in good shape! Love Humdinger xx1

Still not feeling great. Raging headache and fatigue, but the aches have eased off.
I worked 8.30-4 and I’m ready for my bed now. Broke a budget rule and bought a meal deal. Half a sandwich for my tea (skipped lunch as was driving to a meeting) and I’ll have the other half tomorrow.
Two Vinted sales totalling £7.50. I’m waiting on just under £40 now. Very debt is £555. £388 paid off since I started this diary. I’m hoping to pay off the last £100 of my Nationwide DD from my December debt. That will be one debt gone, and possibly Very debt paid with December and January salaries. Target after that will probably be the Nationwide CC, with a target of end of April for that. Then onto the big Santander overdraft. I intend to keep trying to reduce that limit each month, but they are being very awkward about setting a new lower limit, and putting money aside for it is too much temptation. I have a £600 fixed savings bond maturing next November, and I could use that and my £366 car payment (loan ends next December) to pay off the OD in about 8 months.
Meanwhile I will plough on with the debt snowball.

You’re doing great 😃
Once you have one paid off and can use that money to put towards the next debt the better you will feel when you see those debts coming down xMFW 2025 #50: £1139.75/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00

Congrats on your journey so far, you are following a really relatable path using the snowball and avalanche methods, high interest issues with no balance offers (yet), yet still enjoying life and travelling!
We also have a lot to sell on vinted and ebay but the days are so busy with work and childcare that we don't get as much listed as we'd like. It's great when you get a sale though and can put that towards a debt!Credit Cards - £31050 - £23143

I’m hoping to list a few more items tomorrow. I’ve just pulled everything off the shelf in my wardrobe and found a few bits I can list for double figures. I think snow boots should sell!MBNA 237.47/13997.47
