Change your driving licence and bank account then you can settle ID/POR requirements. The solicitor completion statement and funds appearing in your bank account will be sufficient for evidence of source of funds.
Also, I am only here for a short time, is that residence?

Yes. After all, what else could be your current residence?

Thank you, much appreciated. How do I get over not having a utility bill here?

Has anybody said you need to have a utility bill? Usually other things are also acceptable. You should really be discussing the specific ID requirements with the solicitor (or via your daughter), we don't know exactly what they've asked you for.

Since you're staying with family, you can use their address as your current temporary residence for documentation purposes. Many people use a family or friend's address while in between homes. Be transparent about your situation if needed.

Is it the same daughter that you're gifting and staying with?

Are you really worried about questions on whether you'll be moving with daughter rather than getting a rental? As then its contributing money to where you're living, and there may be questions on beneficial ownership..

Yes it is, and yes that is a bit of a concern if I cant find somewhere to rent by the time their purchase goes through.

We are in a similar position to OP.

Changed driving licences to temporary family address.
Changed bank account addresses to temporary family address.
Changed mobile phone bills to temporary family address.

If needed I am hoping that the mobile phone bill will do as a utility bill.

Driving licences and banks took less than 24 hours to do over the internet.

Right, this is the bigger issue then and I'd focus on moving rather than faffing wiht temp addresses.

    of course it is
failure to update your driving licence is an offence, you don't even own the property you are still listed at, let alone reside in it.
