I was sent an email after my call yesterday, asking me to reply back with the pics of my return receipts and any other details. I do have a note of each order number and the amount due as a refund on each one, but not a breakdown of each item. When I did have access to my account, I could see the items I had returned as they were marked as having has a return request against them.

However after pressing send on my lengthy reply note the email address was noreply@salesforce.com so no idea whatsoever if it is being dealt with at all.

That's a global software company's domain rather than one specific to Asda/George so any email sent to it won't be reaching them....

Sorry, but was a total surprise given their glitch added multiples of each item to my order. Moreover iI have been ordering from George for years and before now very rarely have to return anything. If someone there took the time to look at the conduct of my account before now they would see this for themselves.
    From a previous post

whiere I didn't realise that multiples of each item in my basket were processed ( didn't have my glasses on) and only realised when the goods arrived.

Which is not their fault, you did not have your gasses on.

I sent all the details (including order numbers; photographs of return receipt parcel IDs which included the date and time of returns and the items returned including the size and colour) to that email address but they just reply with a generic response and do not actually read what I type.  They have also called me a different name to my own name on two occasions.

I hope you have had better success than what I have had.

I spoke to the manager and he said the other manager has the documentation which I left into the store on Tuesday evening.  He also said that manager is away home but they will be back tomorrow morning so he will get the paperwork then and phone George to see what is happening.  He said he will get back to me tomorrow.

I did explain to the manager that it did not make sense to me that George is claiming not to have received items which a member of his staff had taken from me because they were too big to go into the container near the store entrance / exit.  I also said that it didn't make sense to me that when a different member of staff said she would wrap the items on my behalf that George claimed to only have received one of the three items she wrapped.  I left the staff member before she finished wrapping the parcel.  She couldn't provide me with a receipt but I did receive an email just like she said I would.

No one from George has contacted me but just after 12pm today I received a refund email from George for £8.00, at least it was a start I thought.  Then in the last hour I received some more refund emails from George so I now have received about half of the money I am owed.

I can now log into my Asda and Asda Rewards accounts but I am not confident that if I placed a grocery order it would be delivered because no one ever contacted me to let me know my account had been suspended in the first instance so what is to stop them doing the same thing again?

Nothing.  They can choose to suspend your account any time they like, as long as they're not unlawfully discriminating against you.

Perhaps it's time to find a different retailer.

But, that's obviously not a problem given that you said 'If I could get my account active again I would not use it to purchase anything from George', by which I assume you'd also include Asda?

There's some things I prefer from Asda and which can only be purchased from Asda.

I do get my shopping delivered from another retailer as well.
