I think it could be an idea to have this updated PW. Its almost two years out of date now with lots of things saying N/A which I now get from Aldi. Also there are a lot more of us using them now.

Hi donny-gal,
I'm afraid I don't have anything to do with when Martin updates his articles, but if you look at the original chat thread that is linked to in the article, it's still current so being updated regularly.

No board games, sadly. Saw 2 on freecycle, battleships and guess who, i wanted them, OH said they were dumb. But my way of thinking was a great way to spend some time, rather than watching TV, plus were free...
If Oh isnt interested in board games, how about card games? we've always played cards from when my kids were little (happy families and snap etc) and now dgd is 8 years old we still play happy families and snap occasionally, but dgd is an ace poker player, and we play rummy, newmarket, whist, crazy eights ... the list is endless. We're really big gamblers - we play poker for 2p a game!!!
you could probably get a book from the library that will give you ideas for card games, or maybe find the info online?
Our tv never gets turned on when we're all together, its either cards, scrabble, trivial pursuit, pass the pigs ......... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
