Sorry for the lapse guys someone stole my getup and go
I'm hoping I'm all caught up now
welcome cheerfulness 👋 and well done twiglet 👏
I'm currently faffing with the diet so I don't blame those putting on hold until January. I'll be happy if I can remain until Christmas and then have a heartburn free few days
i hope we can all have a good weekLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin4 -
I seem to have come in at the time many are having a little rest until the new year. If I didn't have this fire in my belly at the moment I think I'd have done the same.

Food today:
2 weetabix with 2 sugars
Cheese and onion pasty, 3 new potatoes and baked beans
Snacks- 1 mince pie, fruit salad
I'm going to start with some 'chair exercises' today which are designed for those with osteoarthritis. The aim is to help my mobility problems. They are surprisingly strenuous!JANUARY GROCERY CHALLENGE £23.30/£150

Oh Joy! The heartburn has gone and I can sleep on my side again. I happened last time my weight was in the normal range too. A good thing since the aniseed flavoured one, even the supermarket own label one, has doubled in price recently.Fashion on the Ration 2026 Coupons, socks 6, 8 vests 24, cardigan 5, pyjamas 2 16, pants 10, l s vests 3 9 Total 66 + 4

@Brambling Unfortunately I have to say + 1/2 lb this week. At the moment I seem to be going 'down half, up half' and repeat! So in effect, staying the same overall. Very frustrating!1

The Leftatthetrafficlights 🙂 and well done hopefully you'll be at target by Christmas 👏
cheerfulness always a good idea to diet when your head is in the correct space 🙂
I've surprised myself with a 2lb loss this week it really wasn't expected!Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3 -
yes, well done @Brambling for sticking with it this late in the year! Thank you!

I put on 1/4 of a Ib this week (and there isnt a smiley for that!LOL). Not bothered....I had a take away so large that I had to order from 2 different places and ate so much crap in general, not my finest hour!
TBH though I have things coming up with friends and family and Im not going to diet my way through them.
Luckily I have 12days off work starting Jan 1st so I figure I'll relax abit now and reset next year!1
