I eat less without feeling that I am eating less by having my breakfast porridge with seeds, fruit and kefir at midday, leaving a long gap between early dinner and late breakfast. I have plenty of tea and coffee, not too strong, it easy to muddle being thirsty with hunger. With dinner I have an assortment of steamed vegetables, so I feel well fed.

Lunch - hummus with cucumber and carrot sticks

    Tea - chicken tikka

Also lots of lemon curd as I made several jars this afternoon!

  • Gained 0.5kg. Not entirely surprised - been to a wedding, not been exercising.

I couldn't believe that I had dropped a further half lb this morning. However, I am now going away on a walking weekend in Northumberland. 2 full days of walking v larger meals. What will happen?
  • Morning all,

    0.5k loss this week
I have had a meal out this week, and a couple of Halloween chocolates last night, but I think all the gardening has helped

They say muscle weighs more than the same volume of fat.  So perhaps you should see whether waist or hip measurements change as well as consider actual pounds.
