Old boiler beeping - what does it mean?

I have an old Ideal WLX CF40 boiler. It probably should have been replaced years ago but following ill health and redundancy I have not managed to do it. But it has always been reliable.
Now there is a chirping sound coming from the boiler and I have no idea what it means.
Can anyone tell me what this means? Is it safe to run the boiler?

It could be a number of things. Faulty boilers can be dangerous I would not run it until you have had it checked by a heating engineer. When was it last serviced?0

Since you have posted in the Heat Pumps section I can only tell you that it means that it is time to replace your boiler with a heat pump. Try posting to the main Energy section and you are likely to get more responses.Reed1
