I managed to pick up a Combi microwave in Tesco's a while back for £40 so also saves on using the big oven.RisingPhoenix1 said:I'll definitely have a look around at offers when I'm ready to buy one and see how cheap I can get a new one compared to secondhandpeb said:Just a thought, going by the prices of second hand microwaves a new one isn't usually much more. Guarantee etc.

best plan here is to continue allocating your money into different pots so its not hanging around in your current account, so savings!!! easy access and maybe some locked away for longer or regular savers or extra pension. it is so nice when you start to receive interest, it feels like 'free' money!!flowers x
I'm with you on the spreadsheets I have several all mapping out what the next 12 months should hopefully look likeSkintSkintSkint said:Spreadsheets are my saviour, you see everything, there, infront of you.
Mine is pretty simple
Money In
minus
Bills ( Itemised and rounded up to next pound)
equals
Money to live on.
Its working 😉
Also, I used to use a locka insurance broker, had done for years, they said they were stopping personal accounts next year, so, i shopped around a bit, got my car ins for £250 a year cheaper, there is £20 saved and getting paid to debt straight away !! House Ins the same, got a quote for renewal from dame company as new car ins, way cheaper, can pay it in one, thats another £35 a month to put to debt payment.
Stick at it, you will get there, I can see the light, just wish it would get heee quicker.
Good luck 🤞
