Mediation is about compromise and a settlement figure, not about the case or costs
3 minutes phone call , no offer, no settlement, thanks but no thanks, goodbye3 -

Your position is that you do not believe that you owe a penny, so you want to have your arguments heard by an impartial judge in Civil court, so no offer
But
One thread today said they offered £10 and it was accepted, so maybe consider offering £10! You never know !

Hi all!
So I had my mediation call today, I did try to offer £10 and they refused, and offered me to pay £240 in instalments. I refused, the mediator was claiming that this will eventually go to court and advised me to look for help on citizen advice as I do not have solicitor.
She also advised me to contact them asking for evidence, should I do that? Thank you for your help everyone!1 -
Just sit and wait for the court order to arrive in the post from your local nominated civil court in due course
You will see their evidence at the WS bundle stage, so keep following the 12 steps2 -

Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. I received this letter today, but did not receive my WS bundle yet. Any action needs to be taken at this stage? Or I just keep waiting for WS bundle to arrive?0

Look again at your Notice of Allocation. The Notice that gives the hearing date.Is there not a paragraph something like:Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].Might be on the back. Those 'documents on which you intend to rely' are your Witness Statement and evidence.4

Hi all! I’m preparing to draft my witness statement. I was looking through this forum for examples and realised that I am not sure what exhibits I could add to my case. Are they even necessary to my situation?
I was the registered keeper of the car however the driver is not identified and I cannot recall being at the place at the DCBL letters (the parking charge is from 2021). It might have been me, but I honestly don’t remember. I never received any letters from Euro Carparks, however on my mediation call they said the letters have been sent to my old address. My driving license is european so obviously there is no records of my address on it. The car was sold in the same year 2021, however it was sold to scrap and I didn’t save any receipts.Should I add pictures of my driving license to exhibits? I noticed many people are adding pictures of the place where parking charge was issued, however if I can’t recall being there I thought it wouldn’t really make sense to investigate if the signs about parking terms are visible. Also it might have been changed in 4 years. In conclusion, can my witness statement be just a text body without exhibits? Sorry for a long read!0
