How to defend myself without being able to recall the situation?

Goof afternoon,
I am new here, spent couple of days reading the newbies posts and threads and I think I am starting to get it, however I do have a question hoping someone can help.
My story is that I was outside the country for a while, I came home couple of weeks ago to find a few letters from DCB legal about parking in Shell fuel station. I ignored the letters as advised and yesterday I received a letter from CNBC.
I wrote a complaint to a landowner. And getting ready to file an AOS and a defence, however the parking fine is from 2021 and I do not recall being in that particular fuel station at all. How can I defend myself without being able to even recall being there? None of the letters include any proofs from the claimant that I was even there, also the car from their letters was scrapped years ago and I am not even sure if I was the driver.
My question would be how does one defend themselves without having any information about the instance or previous letters from the claimant? All I have is 2 letters from DCB legal and one letter from CNBC.
Thank you in advance!

And getting ready to file an AOS and a defence...
    Hello and welcome.

Without actually saying it, it looks like you might have a County Court Claim Form.
If so, please tell us the Issue Date on it.

yesterday I received a letter from CNBC.
Court claim form?  Show us the front page but redact ALL of these things:

    Claim number
    MCOL Password
Your name, address and the QR Code
    your VRM

Easy to defend!  Your situation is the same as hundreds we have had here and won. Search the forum for:

unremarkable day 5 years defence true
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD
  • It appears to be a court claim form, yes (sorry I am completely new at this).
    See the front page attached:

With a Claim Issue Date of 20th September, you have until Tuesday15th October to file an Acknowledgment of Service, but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 29th October 2024 to file a Defence.
That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

Just defend as per the advice. This will eventually be discontinued.

ECP and a few other vermin are dredging the bottom of the barrel for old PCNs and hading them to the bottom-dwelling DCB Legal to chase up in the hope that there are enough low-hanging fruit on the gullible tree who will pay up or not respond resulting in a default CCJ.

Anyone who follows the procedure and files a defence, doesn't really matter what is actually said, could be a nursery rhyme, for what it's worth, will see them discontinue just before they have to pay the hearing fee. They will then move on in search of even lower-hanging fruit.

Thank you very much! One last question, should I wait for the landowners answer before filling the AOS?
