Get complaining, plan A
Just annoying as i genuinely think I have grounds to fight this….0 -
"Only have till 25/09 otherwise ive missed the window"
Not sure what window you think you'll miss. If you can't get pcn cancelled and you were to receive a court claim you can defend it with help from this forum. Have you read the NEWBIES thread?

What % of these ‘claims’ actually go past this stage , like is it likely now I will get a letter from their legal entity or do they give up after this usually?0 -
Tens of thousands of claim's per annum, roboclaims
Have you not read the other threads on here yet. ? Especially the Discontinuations thread by member Umkomaas. ?
I cannot really remember any giving up beforehand until the 6 years deadline passes
They issue something like 12 million PCNs per annum between the 180 or so private parking companies2 -

Not jumping the gun or anything but I think the main argument in my case was that the ParkingEye machine im supposed to put my number plate in was down on the day, essentially rendering the parking contract useless (I hope). Will happily go all the way in court if needed0 -
But the counter argument is that the driver should leave promptly, unless your arguments include that fact. ( If true. ? )
A faulty machine doesn't give the right to park
Plan A is still your best option here to get the PCN quashed0 -

Not sure what else would the argument, i was there past 5 which means I am allowed to park…0 -
The driver is only allowed to park if they fully comply with the signage on that private property
The driver does not have permission to park regardless
The parking company will state that the driver is in breach of the parking contract as detailed on the signs, hence why they issued the NTK PCN , clearly the parking contract wasn't complied with and clearly the driver didn't leave promptly
So the keeper or driver has to study the signs and the contract between gym and landowner that allow the driver to take advantage of the contract
The devil is in the detail, its not carte blanche or as clear cut as you seem to believe
I could offer you free parking after 5 as long as you are in a pink vehicle, park up in a blue one or a pink one but at 4pm and you would breach our contractual agreement
Read what the sign says, in full
The gym can only grant you carte blanche as a member if they were the landowner
You relied on a third party to register the VRM in the usual manner0 -

No and I'm surprised @Gr1pr is posting like this which is having the effect of spooking you. Of course you don't pay.
Of course you can easily defend a court claim. We do this every day. Simple templates.
DCB Legal discontinue claims before hearings and it'll all be over in 2025. No worries.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
