Ditto Flugelhorn. Our family solicitor is a conveyancer too, so I always just go to him and he costs what he costs. However that isn't advice for everyone - get 3 quotes + get personal recommendations etc is better advice in general.

By the by - my sol was cheaper than my EA. Not right isn't that.

particularly when the solicitor is often the one actually paying the bill to the EA.... must be galling sometimes
