DCB Legal Claim Form Defence Advice

Hi All,
I received a claim form from Baysentrey Solutions, I have now submitted a Aos and just wanted some advice on preparing the defense - i.e do you have any recommendations on changes I should make to the template. The ticket issued for me not displaying a permit (This was for parking in my own designated residential space on the first day I moved into my property ) - Whilst it is technically correct that I didn’t display anything as I had no permit sent and had never been told I needed one.
This is because management company (landowners) interest was not noted on the LEP1 form when I purchased the property, so they didn’t even know I lived in the property. (The sale shouldn’t have even happened without them knowing from my understanding). My solicitor said it was on the management company to have noticed themselves on the form. If they had of done this prior to sale then their procedure would have been to allocate me a permit before I moved in. I have contacted the management company to try and have this dismissed but they refuse.
Thanks,

Hello and welcome.
What is the Issue Date on your Claim Form?
Can you please show us a picture of the Particulars of Claim - with personal detail hidden of course.
Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

Just use the Template Defence as you see in all the other DCB Legal claims at the moment.
We have 2 or 3 threads like yours each day, so go back and scroll through the forum to read a good half dozen or more.

With a Claim Issue Date of 12th September, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 15th October 2024 to file a Defence.
That's nearly four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.1 -
Hi @KeithP
When you say don't file the defense through moneyClaimOnline, where else would I file it from?
Thanks,

Email ONLY, not on MCOL, not by post, ONLY by email, your emailed document will be logged and added to the claim on file, and the CNBC will send a copy to the claimant
So, email only2 -
