It's certainly malware embedded somewhere, give malwarebytes a go if you haven't alreadyflyer said:

If above doesn't work try adding Google manually.

Where it says Site Search click Add to the right
Fill in the boxes as above the URL is https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%s
Save it
It should now look like the first picture with Google UK under Site Search
Left click the 3 dots to the right of Google UK and click on Make default
It should then have moved to Search Engines and be the default
