Which camera doorbell?

Hi all,
I've had a Ring Peephole camera for a few years. It's been great (apart from needing to change the battery every so often).
However, it's chime has stopped working. And the audio quality has been poor for a while now. So it's time to get a new one. Which gives me a chance also to see what else is on the market.
I'd be happy to enough to get a like-for-like replacement. But I hear the Reolink doorbell camera is subscription free? And perhaps now's a good time to get a wired doorbell?
I also have two Ring outdoor cameras, which I haven't got around to putting up yet.
Any recommendations?

I have a ring doorbell, but don't bother with the subscription. If you have the cameras then it probably makes sense to have a ring doorbell so they all talk to each other.1

The cameras aren't mounted outside yet, but yes, that was/is the idea.
Only thing with Ring is that it doesn't have 24/7 recording. Often it will miss incidents which you wanted it to catch. That's why I use mine in conjunction with Neo Smart Cams which continuously record onto an SD card. And let me tell you that this has been absolutely essential in certain circumstances (ie, someone driving their car into my fence and then driving off).0 -
I have a Blink doorbell and 2 separate cameras, no subscription needed. One camera mounted at the back of the house and the other is inside, I just place and activate it if I'm out and want to check on the dogsI am a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Wales, Small Biz MoneySaving, In My Home (includes DIY) MoneySaving, and Old style MoneySaving boards. I got fed up with the increasing Ring doorbell subscription and replaced it with a Blink doorbell camera. That also has no subscription and saves the video onto a micro sd card in the house.
its another Amazon product so can usually be picked up for around £30 in the Black Friday sales.1 -
