Kittencat said:@ET22 hi there. Hope you don't mind me popping in.
Just a thought and sorry if I'm right off track. I don't know your age but when you mentioned your job and not being able to cope, are you menopausal age?? I had brain fog for ages and low mood etc I'm now on hrt and feel so much better for it. More like the old me with more energy. Sorry if I'm completely off track here.1 -
I originally left work because I was was in a bad place mentally, then everything fell apart I think it was a combination of having been under too much stress and the menopause. I started taking HRT and it was a life saver. I did however still need a break from work. I made a self referral for counseling so hopefully that will come through soon. I know I isolate myself too much.Today has been a lot better, I was up and about early, went to the library but will need to go back tomorrow for something.I will also go to my daughters tomorrow eve to drop stuff off. Im defo going to make this week a success. I will also speak to the gp again, thank you xxCurrent debt approximately 5000

Hi, thankyou for your support :-) x
I have cleaned all of the kitchen cupboards and rearranged them today, oh and cleaned all the kitchen tiled floor grouting. I have had the paint to paint the living room for a long while and havent yet done it. My kitchen and living room are open plan so my logic was to do the kitchen first before painting. Im hoping to have the painting started tomorrow and finished on Friday.
I did find two more large unopened tins of paint hidden at the back of a kitchen corner cupboard in a neutral ivory shade. This
means i can also paint the small bedroom and my goal is to do that next week.
I am already looking for work in my old career and hopefully I will be in employment by February. Fingers crossed but in the mean time i will keep trying to stay busy and not give myself too much time to dwell on things.
It is very cold, 0 degrees outside so I have had the heating on in the living room on full and it is currently a toasty 18 degrees.
I know its not very frugal to keep the heating on high but it is only in one room, I use my electric blanket on my bed and that seemes to be doing the trick for now but tonight i think i will put the heating on to at least 10 degrees so that im not breathing icy air all night. Tomorrow is going to be very cold so I will nip out to do some shopping in the morning and will start the painting when i get back.
