Have found my dream job.... debt counseller for the CCCS... Shame it's in Leeds... I've had to sadly decline the kind offer from snaggles to move into their folding camper... :rotfl:

I have, however, just filled in the online form to become a CAB volunteer so fingers crossed! Little steps and all that... :D

You can do certificates and degrees in this stuff.... (you'll like this one) :rotfl:

I don't know, I'd be surprised if you weren't eligible; but if I was a customer at the CAB.... I could ask you to find out on my behalf....

(they have a phone line and an email address ;))
  • For students resident in England or Northern Ireland.

From the information you have provided it appears that you could be eligible for the maximum award which would be:
    • Your fees paid up to a value of £765 for courses totalling 30 points or more but less than 90 credit points
    • A course grant of £250 to help with study expenses.
oooh.. and that was with me adding the tax credits and child benefit.... and ssssshh about the spreadsheet!

Nice thing about the OU is they have examples:
    http://www.open.ac.uk/courses/tasters/db123/
and you don't have to make any big commitment, or even have to build up enough credits for a qualification because even one of two courses does the "continual professional development" box ticking that a lot of employers look for... as does something like CAB experience... so if applying for something like a CCCS job could be relevent qualification.... if hanging around with a bunch of debtors is your ideal job

This is a degreee level qualification for churning out similar to your postings...
(probably slightly more structured and concise and with less pictures of semi-clad men)
