Ashli LOVED the nursery.. she didn't want to leave and went walking off with one of the nursery nurses saying 'byeee mummy, byeee daddy..' within 5 mins of us being there! Then she only wanted the nursery manager to help her down the stairs... Little monkey... needless to say I don't think she'll have a problem settling in! :rotfl: Bless her she was really excited about 'Ashli's school' and didn't want to leave...
I definately think she'd be really happy there and they've got an 'outstanding' Ofsted report... so Jjst trying to figure out what days etc to have as we have the option of paying extra for full morning/afternoon sessions or full days.. otherwise the free sessions are 9.30-12 or 1-3.30... having to see what we can afford.. I think until we've paid the tv off we'll go with just the free sessions... and then once it's paid off up her to 2 full days and a free session every week which would be about £130 a month but would get her into a nice routine ready for school...

Is this where she'll go till she goes to f-time school IA? Or does the school she'll attend have a nursery attached? I'd be tempted to go with the free sessions till Sept when you'll know where you are with paying off tv etc and then make a decision then.0

Remember if you pay for any extra time you will get extra Tax credits too, childcare element usually covers about 70% in my experience.... I know you might not be working at these times but you can still claim, tax credits do not ask what hours you work in relation to the childcare, only how many hours you work per week.
Personally i'd go for afternoons in any case, more time at home to wake up, get girls ready and less rushing about. (dare i say time to update the diary/start the daily chat thread etc!)
Plus they are tired when the come home, eat tea, go to bed, rather than coming home at lunchtime and eating lunch then needing a nap and not sleeping at night...
all worth considering.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
