In my experience as a nursery nurse I'd say that pullups are a waste of time as you're just teaching them to wee in another form of nappy...

I agree with Sar I went straight to having just knickers on my little girl as pull ups feel just the same as a nappy to me.

She only had a pull up at night and then they were called "bedtime pants" lol.

IA- I remember you saying you were hoping to clear egg card by end of jan. Looking at your signature I'm sure you will. :T When's the 0% deal on the tv up?

Something I've just done with my 2008 calendar is to go thru it and mark all the dates that c/b is due. I did it to see which month I got 2 lots in.:D For me it's March, which is wonderful cos we have a lot of birthdays then including both my kids.:j . I did the same for tax credits though I've got to wait a whole year for me to get 2 lots in one month as it doesn't fall that way for me till December.

Just wondered if you'd thought to do same?

When you go to look round nursery, make it clear that it is just the funded sessions you wish Ash to attend. Both my kids were in a private nursery but the funding didn't kick in till beg of May. That's not to say it will be the same for you, but best to check, you don't want landing with a bill you weren't expecting.

fingers crossed! Have got to pick up my wages tomorrow which should be a nice some as I get the overtime for the past 2 weeks in one lump... We've got til weds til we can do another food shop so we're trying to make everything last until then so we can use everything in the egg fund for egg rather than having to buy food.. we do need milk though so its inevitable some of it is going to be used before weds..

That's a good idea.. our '2 lots' month was supposed to be january but because it landed on the 1st we got it in december instead... we're due our next CB on the 29th though :)

Thanks, will definately ask. I'm sure she said the funding would begin at the start of the easter term though..

Well done K, you are such a clever girl. Ashs' birthday is 6 days before mine as mine is on Easter Sunday this year although I am Aries, must have missed Pisces by a few days.

Evening all.. I've actually been at home today. On the way to work this morning I started feeling really nauseous and light headed... got into work and my boss was concerned that it was the really contagious bug that has been going around so she sent me home (after I picked up my wages of course..). feeling a bit better but still not right, especially if I move around... hopefully I'll be back to normal by tomorrow though.....
Last night wasn't great.. wasn't bad either but K woke up at 1.30 for her dummy (but she did sleep through from then so can't really moan..)... and then Ash woke up at 5 wanting to get into our bed! I woudn't let her and once she was back in her own bed she went back to sleep.. and they let us both lie in til 9.30! I then lay in til about 10.30 before getting ready for work... didn't feel 100% when I woke up but I put it down o the bottle of lambrini I had last night ;)
