Have you tried the various compatibility options on Vista? If you right click on the shortcut and select properties, you can pretend to run as various other flavours of windows.

Not sure what version of Cubase you have, but from checking the website it is vista compatible as of version 4.1

Baby wipes x 3
Hi IA - don't know how helpful it'll be..but I popped into Sainsbury's yesterday..ALL their wipes/baby toiletries etc are half price currently!! I bought 2 multi packs of Johnsons wipes for £5 (£2.50 for 4 pkts) The offer was also on their own wipes - which were even cheaper!! Might be worth a trip? The 8 packs of wipes will last me a good month or two (hopefully;) )20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

Hi IA,
I used to use a program called N-Track on Vista (although I've gone back to XP now to use Cubase SX). It was a pretty cheap buy (I think about $20); and was a darn sight better than Audacity for multi-track recording. No way upto the quality of Cubase/Protools, but has a half decent interface and supports VSTs.
Hope that helps,

Just looked on the site, looks like the price has gone up to $64. Sorry!0
