Well the TV is at 0% til Oct '09 so to be honest that's not a priority
You found out before that you could overpay the car loan didn't you?
If that's the case I would stick all the money against that.

If you can't, you say you need £3500 to pay off the whole lot in October.
That's 9 months away - £316.77*9 is £2850.91.
To have £3500 by October you need to £388 per month, or an additional £72 a month. Or it should be possible to get a loan for £650 to cover the difference at the end of the car loan.

So if you can't overpay it's time to find yourself an ISA and start saving.
If you can overpay then I'd change the car standing order to say £200 extra and get on with enjoying your life.

Hi.. SIL called at about 7.30 to say that he was still in theatre but she'd call when she knew more.. still waiting for news.

SIL has just called. He's out from the OP and sedated in intensive care on a ventilator. Hopefully Ste's going to go up and see him tomorrow when they start weaning him off the drugs.
At least the worst parts over..!
