114k mortgage over 25yrs at 6%
comes in at
743.15 p.m
http://www.bbc.co.uk/homes/property/mortgagecalculator.shtml
this is about the same as their rent+debt repayments at the moment or at least they were
but remember:
- lots of fees/setup costs
- you pay the £2k when the boiler breaks or have no hot water/heating
- if someone gets ill/that predict third IA child (boy isn't it) turns up
the mortgage is still there and you need a savings / emergencies buffer ideally 6 months of living expenses.....
however that's £743.15 for the 25 years so it'll get easier in 25 years £743.15 will be relatively peanuts....0 -
I noticed they showed your ebay username too. I wondered if you would get messages."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Yes I saw that also. You'd think they would blur it like they do with car number plates on other progs. We know your middle name now Sar !Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0 -

i suppose these things show off an inexperienced production team/new programme. Would never happen on Watchdog!!!
Edit: that sounded mean of me. It also shows a quick turnaround of production too, so i guess they are under pressure and not looking out for things like that.I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

I wouldn't bet your life on it - the BBC isn't anywhere near as good as it proclaims itself to be.
It wouldn't have happened if I'd done it, but I am a bit careful about such things."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
