You ask what it will do..it will get the ticket cancelled of course. What else !
Cheers - so work through the POPLA claim and just submit that one line you suggested?

There is no Popla reference number, because the BPA CoP doesn't allow Keepers in Scotland to appeal to Popla

The OP did not receive any Popla code, so cannot appeal it

    31.14

Only drivers may appeal against a parking charge to POPLA

So submit a POPLA appeal and just use the one line you have suggested?

Your earlier reply said that you didn't receive a Popla code

If you did, you can only appeal to Popla as the driver, using the words provided by Grizebeck

Was the driver revealed in the appeal. ?

Was a Popla code issued. ?

If you ignore it, they may issue a court claim within the next 6 years, do we assume that you don't want that to happen. ?

Is the vehicle registered in Scotland and was the location of the incident also in Scotland. ?
    Thanks @Gr1pr

    Driver wasnt revealed

    Popla code not issued

What effect would the court claim have?

Vehicle registered in Scotland and incident was in Edinburgh
Notice what your reply said above when I specifically asked

In that case you can appeal as the driver with the suggested sentence, nothing else
