Smart Parking PCN

Hey folks, some help required please!
I work as a consultant at a company who has been supplying product to a large commercial project in Scotland. In order to gain access to the site, I have parked in a car park by a Co-Op and it is then a 5 minute walk to the site (site parking is minimal). I parked with the intention of being no more than an hour on site but things overran and I was there for just under 2 hours.
The site has no pay and display options etc., but is rather a 90 minute free parking limit. I have since received a PCN, which I appealed but it has been rejected today.
Can I just ignore it?! Be glad of help please!

Was the driver revealed in the appeal. ?

Was a Popla code issued. ?

If you ignore it, they may issue a court claim within the next 6 years, do we assume that you don't want that to happen. ?

Is the vehicle registered in Scotland and was the location of the incident also in Scotland. ?

    Good to know all that

Ignore due to being Scotland, especially as there is a perceived threshold of £300 for a court claim via the simple procedures system in Scotland

Should have been ignored from the get go

Then do the following to popla (nothing else)
"The operator does not have a contract at this site to issues pcns"

Thanks for that - great to know! Is that £300 threshold still in place...didn't realise it was still around. Could have saved myself £60 last year lol

@Grizebeck, I assume you mean after ignoring it as Gr1pr has advised?
    What will this do?

POPLA not available to keepers up there

Google the simple procedures track for Scotland ( via the Sheriff) if you want to know the justice details
  • @Gr1pr...

Just had a quick Google - found the below,

A simple procedure claim can be made:

    • for payment of a sum of money where the value of the claim is £5000 or less;
    • for delivery or for recovery of possession of moveable property, but only where there is an alternative claim for payment of a sum of money of £5000 or less; or
    • for an order to make someone do something specific, but only where there is an alternative claim for payment of a sum of money of £5000 or less.
  • Or the below...
