Sorry I am new to this and unsure the ways to go about it.
On the N244 form it says I need to provide court name, so I’m unable to move forward until I know where the CCJ was made?0 -

I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You appear to have overlooked both of them.1 -
It's now six weeks since you started this thread.
Remember, the court expects one to act promptly in this situation.2 -
Hello, thank you for your help recently.I had sent my N244 application off and I am awaiting for a response.

KeithP said:You have the Claim Number.
More than likely it was still with the Civil National Business Centre - google knows their phone number - ring them and ask them to email details to you.
OP, have you based your forum username on your real name? 25 years old, at a guess?
If so, you may want to get your forum username changed to something completely anonymous.
To help with that, have a read of this item from the Forum's FAQs:Can I change my username?
In most circumstances, we don't allow this.
The only reason we will change your username is if it puts your privacy at risk e.g. you've inadvertently registered using your name, email address or something which gives away your identity within your username.
If you fall into this category, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com your current username, the email address you registered with and three alternative usernames in order of preference.
Just to clarify, I am not using any of my personal details2 -
Hello, just a quick update on my case.
i have received a letter for a court hearing as per my N244 application.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for this hearing?Thank you for your help, it is highly appreciated1 -
Read the threads by @icy_fox and @Brightonrock123 as I think they both include a new transcript, VCS v Carr, from Court of Appeal level that you may not have submitted yet? You need it!
You should send it attached to a short Skeleton Argument explaining and referring to it, to make it easy for your Judge to see they MUST set aside your CCJ because the Claim Form wasn't received.
Also attach a sheet stating your costs for attending the hearing (loss of a day's salary or leave?) plus travel costs and the £303 Fee you paid.
Search the forum for skeleton argument and CCJ costs assessment to see threads showing how those look. At the end of the hearing you will be asking the court to order Excel to pay your costs so this is important.
Copy in Excel to your email (or the solicitor, if they used one for the claim).
If it was a claim filed by Elms Legal, let us know if they send a fake Consent Order (which they've done several times & confused some courts into cancelling CCJ set aside hearings. You CAN'T let them do that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
